Twitch, the world’s leading live-streaming platform for gamers, has come under fire for its new policy that allows streamers to show third-party ads during their broadcasts. The policy, which will be introduced in the near future, has been criticized by some users who feel that it is a way for the company to take advantage of its users.

Also, before this, Twitch announced that it would start running ads on all channels, regardless of whether they are partnered or not. This change was met with a lot of backlash from the community, as many feel that they are being forced to watch ads even if they don’t want to.

For now, the company has opted to have streamers keep 70% of their subscription fees until they get their first $100,000. In the future, the revenue sharing will be 50/50 (excluding special contracts with top streamers). This change is also not popular with many users, as they feel that they are not fairly compensated for their work.

These changes have led many to question whether Twitch is taking advantage of its users. On the one hand, the platform does provide a lot of value to its users. It is a great place to discover new games and gaming content. Additionally, Twitch has also been a great source of income for many content creators.

However, the recent changes to its policies do seem to be a bit too much. Forcing ads on all users, regardless of whether they are partnered or not, is a bit unfair. While some users are okay with the new policy, others feel that it is a way for Twitch to make more money at the expense of its users. Some users have even started to boycott the platform and are urging others to do the same.
